12 Months in View Summer

Over at 12 Months in View, Bernice gave us a wonderful poem Summer by Robert Louis Stevenson and set a challenge to use it as inspiration for artwork.  I didn't quite know what I wanted to do until I was inspired by a journal page on Pinterest by Claire Barker.  The technique seemed to fit right in with the poem.  I didn't exactly copy it but "interpreted" it in my own style.

Have I mentioned lately that I'm a Pinterest addict?
