Passport to Art -Day 2

Day 2 at Passport to Art and the challenge was to make a passport to place in our book.  The technique was to do an image transfer using hand gel.  The technique was shown here.  Well, I broke our printer trying to print my photo on a piece of acetate.  So no photo on my passport until we get that fixed.  But the rest of the spread turned out pretty well.

So far pretty happy with how this project is going.

Come back to see Day 3.

Passport to Art Day One

Day one at Passport to Art.

Beginning our journey we were challenged to create our title page.

I am using an old Rand McNally Family Atlas at the Goodwill store in Morehead, Kentucky where our weekend cottage is located.  I spent $.50 cents on it.  Can't wait to work in it throughout the month of July.  This is my first altered book.

Check back in to see the progress.

Week 4 - Summer of Color

It's week 4 at Summer of Color and this weeks color combination is charcoal gray and pale pink.  I chose to make an ATC using these colors.

Hope you like it.
