I retired on Friday, August 5th from my job of 24 years. It felt so wrong to wake up at the same time this morning but not be hurrying to get ready and head to the hospital. So I naturally decided to play with crafting.
It's a new week and my Erin Condrin planner was looking a little too plain. So I printed out some free planner stickers found at My Planner Envy

#gratitudedocumented - Wow God Journal
I am working through the Wow God Journal that I got from Illustrated Faith. This is a month long Bible study and art journaling for November with the theme of gratitude. Each day there is a prompt and the word is printed in the little journal. I am going to post the pictures of my little journal for days 1 through 12.
Day 1: Jesus
Day 2. Salvation
Day 3. Family
Day 4. Passion
Day 5. Peace
Day 6. Forgiveness
Day 7. Home
Day 8. Love
Day 9. Freedom
Day 10. Friendship
Day 11. Hope
Day 12. Creativity
I'll post more as I do them.
Thanks for stopping by and having a look.

Pocket Letter Crafting Weekend
I made 3 pocket letters this weekend. It was a great crafting time. Here are my pocket letters made for 3 different events on Pocket Letter Pals.
Prayer Partners

I also made several packets for other pocket letters by cutting a bunch of 12 x 12 papers down to 2 1/2 x 3 1/2 cards to fit the pockets. Then I made several little tiny notebooks to fit in the pockets. Here is a close up of one of them.
Next is the pocket letter I made for the Sunflower event.
This is probably one of my favorites that I've made so far.
Next is the "Dress for Success" event. This one turned out pretty cute too.
Thanks for stopping by.

Bible Art Journaling update
I have been working in my journaling Bible recently so thought I might share some of that art with you.
And I sewed a little toddler dress for my granddaughter. Here she is modeling it. It is a 3T t-shirt to which I sewed a skirt. It turned out very cute don't you think?
Thanks for stopping.

Catching Up
I have been so busy I haven't had a chance to post anything for a week or so. So here is a little catch up post.
Here is the pocket letter that I made for Barbara Fridle. She was my swap partner for the Christian themed swap for His Kingdom Come for June. I posted the pocket letter that I received from her last post.

And lastly, here are some pictures of my journal that I am using for a study from Ephesians that I am working through from Stone Soup for Five. Wonderful study. I am really learning so much as well as enjoying illustrating in my journal.
That's it for today. Have a wonderful and blessed day.
Thanks for stopping.

After unwrapping here is the front of the pocket letter.
